Gary Neville delivers his verdict on Chelsea v Man City
The Manchester United legend warns Manchester City that a big performance is required to get a result against Chelsea on Saturday

Gary Neville has warned Pep Guardiola that the pressure is on his Manchester City side to beat Chelsea and open up the Premier League title race.
Antonio Conte’s side suffered a surprise defeat on Saturday afternoon after Premier League strugglers Crystal Palace were 2-1 winners against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea broke the deadlock through Cesc Fabregas in the fifth minute but Palace were in the lead 11 minutes later thanks to goals from Wilfried Zaha and Christian Benteke.
Tottenham didn’t waste their chance to move to within seven points of Chelsea with nine games to go in the Premier League title race thanks to a 2-0 victory over Burnley.
Manchester City played out a 2-2 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon to move to within 11 points of the Premier League leaders.
Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ about the upcoming Premier League clash between Chelsea and Manchester City in the context of the title race, former Manchester United defender Neville said:
“City are going to have to do something against Chelsea on Wednesday night for us to even be thinking about it [Chelsea being caught in the title race].”
