Gary Lineker reacts to Chelsea’s 4-2 win over Watford
Gary Lineker was active on social media as Chelsea came from behind to seal a 4-2 victory over Watford on Saturday

Gary Lineker took to social media to reflect on Chelsea’s thrilling 4-2 victory over Watford in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime.
The champions finally bounced back to winning ways at Stamford Bridge after having lost their last two games heading into the clash.
Chelsea took the lead through Pedro Rodriguez at Stamford Bridge but the visitors hit back thanks to goals from Abdoulaye Doucoure and Roberto Pereyra.
Conte’s men were stunned but they managed to battle back into the game when Michy Batshuayi equalised to make it 2-2 in the 71st minute.
Cesar Azpilicueta then netted another to put Conte’s side 3-2 up at Stamford Bridge, before Batshuayi struck again to make it 4-2.
England legend Lineker was keeping a close eye on proceedings at Stamford Bridge and wrote on Twitter after Watford took the lead: “Will Watford be the new Leicester?”
However, when Chelsea then went in front, he added: “Will Chelsea be the new….Chelsea?”
The result lifted Chelsea up to fourth place in the Premier League table and was their first win in two top flight games.
Next up for the Blues is a home clash against Everton in the League Cup fourth round in midweek.
