Didier Drogba has highlighted his desire to work with Jose Mourinho again as a key reason behind his decision to return to Chelsea.
The 36-year-old completed his switch to the west London side on Friday, just 26 months after helping the Blues win their inaugural Champions League crown thanks to a penalty shootout win against Bayern Munich.
The Ivory Coast international, who left Turkish outfit Galatasaray at the end of the season, has signed a one-year deal with Chelsea.

Drogba won three Premier League titles, four FA Cups, two League Cups as well as the Champions League during his first spell at the club – and the Ivorian is eyeing more silverware.
“It was an easy decision – I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to work with Jose again,” Drogba told Chelsea’s website.
“Everyone knows the special relationship I have with this club and it has always felt like home to me.
“My desire to win is still the same and I look forward to the opportunity to help this team. I am excited for this next chapter of my career.”
Drogba scored 157 goals in 341 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions following his move to Stamford Bridge from Marseille in 2004.
