Chelsea’s Frank Lampard: ‘Top notch’ Oscar can get even better
Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard heaps praise on "top notch" Oscar after the Brazilian's display in a 3-0 win at Upton Park

Frank Lampard believes Chelsea midfielder Oscar can become a “top notch” player after the Brazilian’s starring display in a 3-0 win at West Ham United.
The 22-year-old won a first-half penalty after forcing Guy Demel into a poor back pass which he intercepted before being fouled by Jussi Jaaskelainen.
Former Hammers midfielder Lampard scored the ensuing penalty before Oscar bagged his fifth Premier League goal of the season in the 31st minute.
And Lampard, who netted his second of the night in the final 10 minutes at Upton Park, heaped praise on his South American team-mate.
“He can be top notch. He is top notch. He can be even better. He plays with a maturity of someone a lot older,” Lampard told Sky Sports.
“I’ve never seen a No10 with such a great work-rate. He showed it today. He’s got constant movement on and off the ball.
“To have that Brazil No10 shirt and wear it so well shows what a player he is.”
Oscar has scored nine goals in 46 top-flight appearances for the Blues following his reported £19m move to west London from Internacional in 2012.
