Nemanja Matic has lifted the lid on Chelsea’s preparation ahead of their 1-0 victory over Manchester City.
The Blues were lauded after a ruthlessly efficient performance as Jose Mourinho’s men were emphatic winners against their Premier League title rivals.

Serbia international Branislav Ivanovic scored a 32nd-minute winner, whilst Gary Cahill and Matic hit the woodwork in the second half at Etihad Stadium.
And the midfielder, who returned to Chelsea in a £21m deal from Benfica in January, felt the Blues carried out their gameplan perfectly against the Citizens.
“We prepared very good, the coach showed us some videos of Manchester City and of course they were the right videos to show the quality but also where they make mistake,” Matic said.
“We cannot say what we prepared because it is only for us, but the preparation was very good and a big quality.
“To play in a game like this he prepared us very good, like you saw on the pitch. Everyone knew what they were meant to do which is why we got the result.”
Matic was named man-of-the-match in Chelsea’s one-goal victory over City.
