Christian Eriksen’s latest comments will delight Tottenham fans

Midfielder Christian Eriksen says he remains fully committed to Tottenham Hotspur

Christian Eriksen has insisted that he has never thought about the possibility of leaving Tottenham Hotspur.

The Denmark international has earned a reputation as one of the Premier League’s finest playmakers since his arrival at Spurs from Ajax back in 2013.

The playmaker has been in fine form for the north London club so far this season to help Mauricio Pochettino’s men up to second place in the Premier League table.

Eriksen has scored six goals and made 10 assists in 27 Premier League games for Spurs so far this term as the Lilywhites try and keep pace with Chelsea at the top of the table.

And the 25-year-old insists that he remains firmly committed to the north London club as he bids to help them get back into the Champions League for next season.

Eriksen told Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet: “I have honestly not thought about it.

“I live in the present. Right now, there are still more than three years left on my contract.

“I feel great here and I really like being at Tottenham.”
