Crystal Palace 1 Norwich 1: Jason Puncheon praises Eagles for holding their nerve in testing conditions
Jason Puncheon praised Crystal Palace for holding their nerve in testing conditions after the winger’s penalty earned a draw against 10-man Norwich City.
Bradley Johnson curled home an opener for the visitors in the 39th minute but Puncheon equalised soon after when he converted his spot-kick following a foul by Leroy Fer on Mile Jedinak.
The Canaries were then reduced to 10 men late on when Fer was dismissed for a second bookable offence.

But despite the draw seeing Palace drop back into the Premier League relegation zone and a point from safety, Puncheon was pleased to see Tony Pulis’ men take something from the game.
“It was played in difficult conditions,” Puncheon told BBC Sport.
“There was no nerves for the penalty, I wanted to take it for more confidence.
“You desperately want three points, but the conditions played a part.”
On the incident in the first half when Marouane Chamakh could have been sent off for a push, Puncheon added: “I saw it , and I thought it should have been a yellow card.”
