Danny Murphy makes Alexis Sanchez claim after Arsenal’s 3-2 win at Crystal Palace

Danny Murphy hailed Alexis Sanchez as one of the top five players in the world following his goal in Arsenal’s 3-2 win at Crystal Palace.
The Chile international helped the visitors to make the breakthrough in the first half after he deflected the ball into Shkodran Mustafi’s path and the German defender finished from an acute angle.
Palace were level after the break when former Tottenham winger Andros Townsend scored at Selhurst Park to give the visitors a springboard to secure three points in the London derby clash.
However, Sanchez edged Arsenal back into the lead thanks to an instinctive finish to take his tally to six Premier League goals amid talk of the South American moving to Premier League leaders Manchester City in January.
The Arsenal forward controlled Jack Wilshere’s incisive pass to make it 3-1 with a cool finish before James Tomkins reduced the deficit to one goal again in the 88th minute on Thursday night.
Former Spurs midfielder Murphy claimed that Sanchez is among the best five players in the world following his two goals in Arsenal’s 3-2 victory over Palace at Selhurst Park.
“He had the technique to take the pass – that’s why he is one of the top 10 players in the world,” Murphy told NBC Sport. “Maybe even top 5. The last seasons he has been sensational.”
Arsenal have conceded five times in their last two Premier League games to raise questions about Wenger’s defence.
