Danny Higginbotham’s predicted top four: What will Arsenal and Man United fans think?
The former Stoke City defender has predicted how the Premier League's top four will look at the end of the season
Danny Higginbotham is backing both Liverpool and Tottenham to finish in the top four this season – at the expense of Manchester United and Arsenal.
Liverpool are currently fourth in the Premier League table as they bid to finish in the top four in Jurgen Klopp’s first full season in charge at Anfield.
Chelsea are leading the way at the top of the table ahead of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City, while Arsenal are languishing down in sixth place following their miserable run of form in recent weeks.
Manchester United are fifth in the table and can move above Liverpool if they win their two games in hand over Klopp’s side.
However, former Stoke City star Higginbotham is tipping both Manchester United and Arsenal to miss out on a spot in the top four this term.
Speaking on Sky Sports News HQ on Friday morning, Higginbotham said: “For me, Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester City are definitely going to get in the top four.”
He added: “It’s a tough call, but yes I think they [Liverpool] will make the top four.”
