Danny Rose: Tottenham players ‘love’ Tim Sherwood
Danny Rose insists that Tottenham's players are keen admirers of Tim Sherwood and his coaching staff
All of Tottenham’s players “love” Tim Sherwood and his coaching staff, according to Danny Rose.
Sherwood has endured a turbulent spell in charge of the north London outfit since taking over from Andre Villas-Boas back in December.
Obviously we would like a bit of continuity with a manager
Spurs are currently fifth in the table and nine points behind third-placed Arsenal following Sunday’s demoralising 1-0 defeat by the Gunners at White Hart Lane.
The 45-year-old’s future beyond the summer has been questioned, with Louis van Gaal and Luciano Spalletti both linked with the Spurs job.
But Rose insists that he and his team-mates are keen admirers of Sherwood and his coaching staff.
“You look at the best teams and they do well when they do have a manager to work with for a long time,” Rose said.
“Everyone loves Tim and the coaching staff.
“You don’t know what’s going to happen. We just want the fans to stick by us and obviously we would like a bit of continuity with a manager and we’ll all be fighting to put it right, to get the top four maybe next season.”
