David Luiz wants to see Chelsea’s fighting spirit against Galatasaray
Chelsea defender David Luiz is relishing the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash against Galatasaray

David Luiz has called on Chelsea to show their fighting spirit ahead of their Champions League last-16 clash against Galatasaray on Wednesday night.
The Blues have the chance to become the only English club to secure a first leg win after Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United all made losing starts to their bids to reach the last eight.
And Luiz, who was part of the Chelsea side which won the Champions League in 2012, is relishing the mouth-watering clash against Roberto Mancini’s side, which contains Blues legend Didier Drogba.

On Tuesday, Jose Mourinho played down Chelsea’s chances of winning the Champions League crown this season.
“We are not favourites (to win the competition), obviously,” Mourinho said.
“But when a team reaches the quarter final, anything is possible. This round is a very important round because the teams who reach the quarter final can start having a little feeling.
“Chelsea won it when they were not the favourite, I won it twice when I was not favourite. I didn’t win when my team was one of the favourites.
“This competition has a bit of a space for a surprise. It is clear there are at least three, maybe four or five, that are by quality and experience obviously favourites.”
