Diego Costa’s admission about Eden Hazard will worry Chelsea fans

Diego Costa has admitted that it will be bad news for Chelsea if Real Madrid come in for Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois this summer.

Hazard has been in sublime form for Chelsea this season to help the Blues establish themselves as the firm favourites to win the title.

The 26-year-old is showing glimpses of his best form once again after struggling to produce consistent displays for the Blues last season.

Hazard’s brilliant form is likely to attract interest from some of Europe’s top clubs in the future, and Real Madrid are one team to have been linked with the Belgian playmaker.

And Costa admits that it will be difficult for Hazard to ignore the interest of the Spanish club should they come calling.

Costa told Cadena Cope after Chelsea’s win over Manchester United: “It will be bad news for Chelsea if Real Madrid sign Hazard and Courtois.

“Eden is the best, he’s top.

“Barcelona and Real Madrid will have their eye [on him] and if a team like these knock on the door you have to think about it.

“It is normal that they love him but hopefully he will not leave.”

Both Courtois and Hazard will be expecting to feature for Chelsea when the Blues take on Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday.
