Eden Hazard has hinted that he is happy at Chelsea and wants to stay at Stamford Bridge beyond the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old’s future has been a relentless source of speculation in recent months, with Real Madrid constantly touted as a possible destination for the playmaker.

Hazard has developed into Chelsea’s star player since his arrival at Stamford Bridge from Lille back in 2012 and he played an integral role in helping the Blues win the Premier League last season under Antonio Conte.

However, despite the speculation about his situation, Hazard has once again appeared to indicate that his long-term future is at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking in an interview with Chelsea magazine, as quoted by Sky Sports, Hazard said: “I like this club because it’s a family. I have a lot of friends and we all talk to each other.

“I’ve been here five years now and I’m so happy. I’m at one of the best clubs in the world, so I’m very happy to play for such a big club as this.”

Hazard, who also helped Chelsea win the Premier League back in 2015, is currently sidelined with an ankle injury after suffering the problem while on international duty with Belgium.

The playmaker underwent surgery to correct the problem and could miss the start of next season as he continues his recovery.

Hazard was unable to prevent Chelsea from slipping to a 2-1 loss to Arsenal in the FA Cup final last month.
