Eden Hazard insists that he is in top condition and is not feeling the effects of a gruelling season with Chelsea.
Hazard has been one of the west Londoners’ standout performers this season under Jose Mourinho, scoring 12 goals and making seven assists in 28 Premier League games.
I want to play all the time because being on the pitch gives me enormous pleasure
The 23-year-old has already notched up 38 appearances for the Blues this term but the Belgium international feels that his regular playing time helps him to find his best form.
“I’m in very good condition and I think I perform better when I keep on playing lots of games consecutively,” Hazard told Chelsea’s website.
“It was the same in France. During my four years at Lille I played a lot of games too.
“I want to play all the time because being on the pitch gives me enormous pleasure; I know I can make a difference for my team-mates and for the fans.
“It’s amazing because it doesn’t matter if you win or if you lose, the fans support you and that’s a great feeling. I hope to score more goals and I will try to carry on making a difference.”
