Fernando Torres was on target as Chelsea booked their place in the League Cup fourth-round draw courtesy of a 2-0 win at Swindon Town.

Elsewhere, Sunderland put a miserable weekend behind them with a 2-0 victory over Peterborough, whilst Fulham, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur were also winners on Tuesday night.
