Europa League semi-final draw: Chelsea will face Tottenham's conquerors Basel for a place in the final in Amsterdam

Chelsea will face Tottenham’s conquerors Basel for a place in the Europa League showpiece after the semi-final draw was made on Friday.
The Swiss side booked their place in the last four thanks to their penalty shootout win over Spurs in Switzerland on Thursday night following a 4-4 aggregate draw.
Chelsea progressed to the semis with a 5-4 aggregate triumph over Rubin Kazan despite their 3-2 defeat in Russia on Thursday.
The Europa League semi-final first legs will be played on 25 April, with the return legs to take place on 2 May.
Speaking after Chelsea’s progression to the semis, midfielder Frank Lampard insisted the club has been taking the competition seriously.
“We haven’t maligned it, the players or manager of this club, said Lampard.
“You drop out of the Champions League and come into it so of course there’s disappointment but the minute you start playing the games you need to go as far as you can.
“The nearer you get it [the final] becomes higher on your agenda, but I think we’ve shown a very professional attitude towards all our games.
“The club needs to win silverware. It’s been around silverware for many years and when you get used to it, it makes you hungrier to do it.”
