Michael Owen states his prediction for Everton v Chelsea
The Liverpool FC legend is backing Chelsea to edge to a narrow win over Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon

Michael Owen is backing Chelsea to secure three points against Everton at Goodison Park in Saturday’s early kick-off.
The defending Premier League champions have won their last two Premier League games against Huddersfield Town and Southampton following a shock 1-0 loss to West Ham United earlier this month.
Chelsea are in third place in the table but 14 points adrift of runaway leaders Manchester City to leave their hopes of retaining the Premier League crown in tatters.
The Blues will come up against a resurgent Everton under Sam Allardyce on Merseyside following the Toffees’ four-game unbeaten run since the former England manager took over the reins from David Unsworth.
Everton have collected 13 points from their last five Premier League games to hoist themselves into the top half of the Premier League table.
Former Liverpool FC striker Owen is tipping Chelsea to edge to victory over Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.
“Everton have lost their last three PL games against Chelsea by an aggregate of 10-0 and this will be a real examination of the Blues’ recent improvement under Sam Allardyce,” Owen told BetVictor.
“The Toffees have had their fair share of luck in recent games but 13 points out of their last five league games shows just how far this young Everton side have come in the last month or so.
“That said Chelsea have already beaten Everton three times in 2017 and scored ten times in their last three visits to Goodison.
“Antonio Conte’s side can take the points back to the capital.”
Chelsea were 2-0 winners against Everton at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League back in August.
Spanish duo Alvaro Morata and Cesc Fabregas helped to fire the west London side to a comfortable win against the Toffees.
Chelsea signed six players in the summer transfer window to improve their squad.
