Manchester United are closing in on their second signing of the summer with a deal to land Fabinho from Monaco, say reports

Manchester United are closing in on their second signing of the summer after agreeing a £35.2m deal to sign Fabinho from Monaco, according to reports in Italy.
Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport is reporting that the Red Devils have finally struck a deal with Monaco to bring the versatile midfielder to Old Trafford after having been linked with a move for the player for some time.
It is claimed that the deal will be a fee of £30.8m up front plus performance-related bonuses up to £4.4m.
The same story claims that Manchester United have already agreed personal terms with Fabinho and that the Brazilian is set to be unveiled as the Red Devils’ second summer signing.
The 23-year-old scored nine goals and made one assist in 37 Ligue 1 games for Monaco last season to help them win the French title.
Manchester United have already tied up a deal to bring defender Victor Lindelof to Old Trafford from Benfica this summer but the Red Devils continue to be linked with a number of other players ahead of Jose Mourinho’s second season in charge at the club.
