Fernando Torres: Top-four finish is CRUCIAL for Chelsea
Fernando Torres says Champions League qualification is crucial for Chelsea as the Blues aim to keep their top-four bid on track

Fernando Torres admits that Champions League qualification is crucial for Chelsea as the Blues aim to keep their top-four bid on track with victory at Liverpool on Sunday.
The Blues are currently third in the Premier League table with six games left to play as they bid to secure their place in next season’s competition.
Chelsea face a number of difficult matches in the run-in, including games against Manchester United, Everton and Tottenham after Sunday’s clash at Anfield.
But Spanish striker Torres has reminded his team-mates of the importance of qualifying for Europe’s elite club competition.
“It is crucial for everyone,” Torres, who has netted 20 goals for Chelsea this term, told Sky Sports.
“We are at Chelsea because we want to win trophies and the Champions League is one of them, maybe the most important.
“If you want to play in the Champions League you have to finish at least in the top four.
“Obviously it is not the target we had at the beginning of the season but it is the reality now. We must focus on the games we have to play this month and we have to qualify.”
