Filipe Luis: Chelsea out to win all four trophies this season

Filipe Luis has declared that Chelsea have their sights set on winning all four competitions this season.

The Blues endured a trophyless campaign in Jose Mourinho’s first season back in charge at Stamford Bridge as the west London club finished third in the Premier League behind Manchester City and Liverpool.

But Luis, who has been joined by Diego Costa, Cesc Fàbregas and Didier Drogba in moving to Stamford Bridge this summer, is confident of success under Mourinho this term.

“Chelsea are setting out to win ­everything this season – we have a top-quality team here,” Luis, 29, is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.

“You can tell that the players are all friends with one another, and that has helped me to adapt here.

“I had a very good reception and ­everyone is very modest. I am crazy about being able to play in the Premier League.

“It is the only league in the world where there are five teams with equal chances of competing for the title. England is the ideal place for me – and Chelsea is the best team.”
