Frank Lampard makes claim about Eden Hazard at Chelsea
Frank Lampard says that Eden Hazard's goal against Arsenal last month is the strike of the season so far

Frank Lampard has claimed that Eden Hazard’s brilliant solo strike against Arsenal is the leading contender for goal of the season.
The Belgian playmaker danced through the Arsenal defence and fired home a brilliant finish as Chelsea secured a 3-1 victory over the Gunners in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge last month.
Hazard has been in fine form for the Blues this season after struggling to produce consistent performances like many of his team-mates last term.
And former Chelsea midfielder Lampard, who played alongside Hazard at Stamford Bridge, has been hugely impressed by the Belgian’s form this season.
Speaking to BBC Sport on Monday night, Lampard said: “That is probably the leading contender for goal of the season as it stands.
“Only the best players in the world can score that goal. Now he’s playing more central, he can add goals and assists to his game and move into the top bracket of world football.”
