Boxing weekend prediction: Gavin to defeat Horta
We highlight the fights to watch this weekend and bring you our prediction for Frankie Gavin v Frank Horta

Prediction: Gavin to beat Horta by unanimous decision
Frankie Gavin has struggled to emulate the early success of fellow 2008 Olympian James DeGale but he will be hoping that his fourth fight in 2011 will remind people of his talents. Gavin will be up against durable Frenchman Frank Horta, who has never been stopped in 39 professional fights, on Friday night in Manchester. Gavin will use his superior footwork and punching power to overwhelm his light punching opponent but will not have everything his own way. Expect Gavin to get a cut at some point in the bout and be troubled by his opponent’s ability to go the distance and make him look bad. However, the Englishman will edge out a close but unanimous decision by the end of the 12 rounds.
