Tottenham Hotspur's new signing Ben Davies reveals Gareth Bale's influence in his move to White Hart Lane
Ben Davies has revealed the role that Gareth Bale played in the defender’s move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Wales international sealed a reported £10m switch to White Hart Lane from Swansea City this week, following in the footsteps of compatriot Gareth Bale.

The Real Madrid star spent six seasons at the north London club before completing a club-record £85.3m move to the Champions League winners last summer.
And Davies said that Bale always spoke highly of Spurs and the left-back didn’t hesitate to join Tottenham.
“Gareth always used to say what a good club Tottenham were and how they always looked after him,” Davies told the Sun on Sunday.
“That has always stuck with me and is one reason why I decided to make this move.
“People will want to compare me with Gareth but we are different types. He is a huge person to live up to, a superstar.”
Davies added that the chance to work under Mauricio Pochettino was another decisive factor in his £10m move to Spurs.
“I liked what I saw of him at Southampton and the way he got them playing,” added Davies.
“If the manager can get Tottenham working in a similar way we will be hard to beat, and with the talented players we have in attack it could be a perfect combination.”
