Gianfranco Zola makes prediction about Tammy Abraham at Chelsea FC
Gianfranco Zola is tipping Tammy Abraham to be a key player for Chelsea FC this season

Gianfranco Zola is tipping Tammy Abraham to be able to cope with the pressure of playing regularly for Chelsea FC this season.
Abraham started alongside fellow youngster Mason Mount at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon as the Blues suffered a disappointing 4-0 loss to Manchester United in their Premier League opener.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a successful spell at Aston Villa on loan last season and he is now back at Chelsea FC and fighting for a regular spot in the first team.
Abraham started brightly at Old Trafford but his impact faded during the game as Manchester United ended up running out as resounding winners at Old Trafford.
However, former Chelsea FC star Zola is predicting a bright future for the youngster at the west London club as he gets more used to the rigours of the Premier League.
Speaking in an interview quoted by Metro, Zola said: “Maybe in the beginning he might suffer because you know the difference from the Championship and the Premier League is huge.
“He will have to adapt but he has a lot of energy, he’s positive.
“I think in the end he will get to the level he needs to be. ‘But he will have to be supported more from the others, Pedro will have to produce more offensively and also all the others.”
Chelsea FC will return to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Leicester City at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues finished in third place in the Premier League table last season under Maurizio Sarri, before Frank Lampard was brought in as the club’s new manager in July following the Italian’s exit to Juventus.
