Glenn Hoddle criticises Chelsea over Man United transfer
Glenn Hoddle admits that he still can't believe Chelsea agreed to let Nemanja Matic join Manchester United in the summer

Glenn Hoddle has admitted that he still cannot believe that Chelsea agreed to let Nemanja Matic leave the club to sign for Manchester United in the summer.
Antonio Conte deemed Matic to be surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window as he allowed him to sign for Jose Mourinho’s team.
The Serbian midfielder has been a regular fixture in the first team at Old Trafford this season and appears to have slotted seamlessly into Mourinho’s side.
Chelsea opted to bring in Tiemoue Bakayoko as a like-for-like replacement but it seems as if the 23-year-old still needs time to develop and adapt to the rigours of the Premier League.
And Hoddle concedes that he cannot understand why Chelsea agreed to let Matic move to their Premier League rivals.
Speaking on BT Sport on Wednesday night, Hoddle said: “The loss of Matic, Matic going to Manchester United, I’m scratching my head still.
“You don’t give him to one of your rivals.
“He’s playing superb for United and he’s a big miss for Chelsea.”
Chelsea are looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime when they host Watford at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have lost their last two games in the top flight to leave them fifth in the table and nine points behind leaders Manchester City after just eight games of the new campaign.
