Hull City
Allan McGregor Caught out for Gerrard’s goal but played his part and eased the pressure on his defence a number of times. 5/10
Alex Bruce Almost exposed in the second half as Suarez raced forward but was helped out by McGregor, other than that made it difficult for Liverpool’s attackers. 5
Curtis Davies The defender gave away the free-kick for Gerrard’s goal and looked edgy but improved as the game went on and came close with a header at the other end. 5
Maynor Figueroa (man-of-the-match) Excellent cover throughout the game including a key interception with the visitors first chance as he prevented Henderson from reaching the ball in the box. 6
Ahmed Elmohamady Another battling performance from the Egyptian and won the ball in the build-up to Hull’s first goal but should have scored late on. 6
David Meyler The match-winner showed great composure after the ball fell to him in the box as he rifled the ball across Mignolet. 6
Tom Huddlestone Came more and more into the game and will be looking to claim Hull’s third despite a big Skrtel deflection. 5
Jake Livermore Superb play for his deflected goal to put Hull 2-1 after a neat interchange before unleashing the strike. 6
Robbie Brady Rightly booked in the first half for a dive but was key to helping his side limit Brendan Rodgers’ men after tracking back throughout. 5
Robert Koren Showed what he is capable of with his runs and delivery into the box but was not involved enough, resulting in him being replaced by Rosenoir. 5
Yannick Sagbo Very energetic and had opportunities late on but could not find the killer finish. 5
