Indian Wells 2014: Jelena Jankovic beats Caroline Wozniacki
Jelena Jankovic thrashes Caroline Wozniacki 6-3 6-1 to reach the quarter-finals in Indian Wells

Jelena Jankovic thrashed Caroline Wozniacki 6-3 6-1 to reach the quarter-finals in Indian Wells on Tuesday, securing her first win over the Dane since 2010.
Former world No1 Jankovic is through to the last eight for the first time since winning the Indian Wells title back in 2010, when she last beat Wozniacki.
“I tried to play solid and aggressive at the same time, wait for the right shots, and then execute,” said Jankovic.
“I did that pretty well. At 3-1, I kind of found my way, found my rhythm, and I was striking the ball very well out there and took control of the points.”
Elsewhere, 12th seed Dominika Cibulkova reached her first quarter-final in Indian Wells thanks to a 6-3 6-2 win over Petra Kvitova.
Top seed Li Na also made it through to the last eight thanks to a 6-1 6-4 victory over Aleksandra Wozniak.
The Australian Open champion and world No2 is yet to drop a set in her bid to capture her 10th WTA title this week.
