Jack Wilshere adamant Arsenal’s season is ‘definitely not over’
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere insists the Gunners' season is "definitely not over" ahead of next weekend's north London derby

Jack Wilshere has declared that Arsenal’s season is “definitely not over” ahead of their top-four showdown against Tottenham Hotspur next weekend.
The Gunners moved to within a point of fourth-placed Spurs after a slender 2-1 victory over Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday.
Arsene Wenger’s side trail Bayern Munich 3-1 from the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie, but Wilshere believes there is still plenty to play for.
“Our season is definitely not over,” Wilshere told the Sun. “We’ve got a big chance against Tottenham. We’ve got another big game at Bayern.
“It will be tough but if we show no fear, anything can happen.”
Wilshere was also delighted to help ease pressure on Arsenal’s under-fire manager Wenger after losing to Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup before their Bayern defeat.
“It was a massive win, especially after the midweek disappointment,” he added.
“We take the pressure. I think the manager takes it as well. He stands up for us the whole time. But we as players have to take the pressure on and relieve the pressure like we did [on Saturday].”
