Jamie Carragher: Liverpool still in Premier League title race
Jamie Carragher claims Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez are capable of firing Liverpool into the Premier League title race

Jamie Carragher believes that Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez are capable of firing Liverpool into the Premier League title race.
The Liverpool duo both scored on Tuesday night as the Reds beat local rivals Everton 4-0 in a sparkling display at Anfield.
Sturridge now has 13 Premier League goals to his name this season, while Suarez has already bettered his tally from last season by netting his 23rd of the campaign against the Toffees.
As an attacking unit Liverpool are as good as anything in the league

Ex-Liverpool defender Carragher has been thoroughly impressed by Brendan Rodgers’ side, who are seven points behind leaders Manchester City, and believes they could still challenge for the title.
“If they continue the way they are going Liverpool will take some stopping, Carragher told talkSPORT.
“At times they have not been great at the back but if they can start to keep clean sheets they will always score goals with those two up front.
“As a partnership, they are the best in the Premier League. You look at Chelsea and they would love to have one of them as their centre-forward and they’re going for the title.
“As an attacking unit Liverpool are as good as anything in the league.”
Liverpool are now fourth in the table and three points ahead of fifth-placed Tottenham.
And Carragher added: “With that gap they’ve got, if Liverpool don’t finish in the top four they’ve only got themselves to blame.”
