Jermaine Jenas sends Liverpool FC warning to Tottenham after 7-0 win
The Spurs legend believes Liverpool can carry their new-found confidence into Sunday's trip to Tottenham

Jermaine Jenas believes Liverpool will be feeling confident heading to Tottenham Hotspur this weekend following Tuesday night’s 7-0 win at Maribor.
Liverpool made the breakthrough in the fourth minute when Roberto Firmino finished from close range to give the visitors a slender lead.
The Reds extended their lead six minutes later thanks to Philippe Coutinho’s lofted strike before Mohamed Salah coolly slotted home to make it 3-0.
The Merseyside outfit went 4-0 up before half-time thanks to Salah’s second of the night before Firmino doubled his tally in Slovenia with a deft header.
Liverpool were in control of the Champions League clash and Jurgen Klopp’s men capitalised on their dominance with summer signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain netting his first goal for the Merseyside club.
The 18-time English champions wrapped up their biggest-ever Champions League win on the road with Trent Alexander-Arnold’s deflected strike in added time to make it 7-0.
Former Spurs midfielder Jenas believes Liverpool can carry their new-found confidence into their next Premier League fixture at Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
“Liverpool really needed that,” Jenas told BT Sport.
“Seven goals will give them confidence they can use going into further games.”
Liverpool finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last term to secure a return to the Champions League.
The Reds have five points after three Champions League games to leave them top of Group F.
