Jose Mourinho: Mauricio Pochettino has ‘dream job’ at Southampton
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says Mauricio Pochettino has a "dream job" at Southampton ahead of their clash on Sunday

Jose Mourinho believes Mauricio Pochettino has landed a “dream job” at Southampton ahead of Chelsea’s clash against the Saints on Sunday.
The Argentine’s side have been one of the Premier League’s early-season talking points after residing in the top four throughout November thanks to their good form.
Pochettino replaced Nigel Adkins last season and helped guide the south coast club to safety before investing in Victor Wanyama and Dani Osvaldo in the summer.
And Mourinho feels that the Saints boss has the freedom to work without pressure at St Mary’s.
“He’s got a club profile where his work is not so much in front of cameras and microphones,” said Mourinho.
“He has a dream job; good players, good club, big [transfer] chest, big stability, no pressure.
“[If] he finishes fifth or sixth, it will be an incredible job.
“[If] he finishes seventh or eighth, it will be a very good job. He respects the country, he loves to be here.”
Mourinho added that he doesn’t see any issue with Pochettino conducting his post-match media interviews in his native tongue.
“From what I know of him, if he doesn’t do it, it’s because he isn’t comfortable,” he said.
“I think when you aren’t comfortable, it’s better not to speak. You can create a misunderstanding or a problem for yourself.
“So for me, if he doesn’t do that, it’s because he’s not comfortable. I’m sure he will.”
And asked if Pochettino could rival his ‘Special One’ title, Mourinho added: “The world is full of special ones. But I was the first.”
