Jose Mourinho has told Petr Cech that he will have to wait for his chance at Chelsea this season.
Cech’s future at Stamford Bridge appears precarious after Mourinho chose to recall Thibaut Courtois from his loan spell with Atletico Madrid and gave the young goalkeeper his first competitive start for the Blues during last Monday’s Premier League win over Burnley.
Petr’s behaviour is fantastic and that’s important

But the Chelsea manager offered the 32-year-old hope of a return to the fold in the coming weeks as he hinted at the prospect of rotating his squad with up to three games per week as he prepares to fight on multiple fronts with the start of the Champions League and Capital One Cup.
Mourinho said: “He’s a top professional; working, behaving, being a group man and being a Chelsea person as always. Is he totally happy? I don’t believe so, but it is not him.
“For everyone that didn’t start the game, I think this period is hard for them because it’s a period with one match per week.
“But in September, [with] Capital One Cup, Champions League and the Premier League,- everybody is playing. So September is an easy period for them and for me in the sense of everybody feels much better.
“Now, these three first matches – one match per week – some are not playing and they feel it more. But Petr’s behaviour is fantastic and that’s important.”
