Jose Mourinho raves about ‘fantastic’ Man United star after 4-0 win over Chelsea FC
Jose Mourinho has his say on Man United's 4-0 win over Chelsea FC at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon

Jose Mourinho heaped praise on Harry Maguire after Manchester United claimed a dominant 4-0 win over Chelsea FC at Old Trafford on Sunday.
The 26-year-old central defender was handed the man of the match award after he helped the Red Devils to keep a clean sheet on his debut for his new club.
Summer signing Maguire started alongside Victor Lindelof in central defence for the Red Devils and the pair managed to keep Frank Lampard’s Chelsea FC team at bay.
Marcus Rashford scored the opener from the penalty spot in the 18th minute at Old Trafford.
Anthony Martial made it 2-0 in the 65th minute with a close-range finish, and Rashford added his second of the evening just two minutes later.
Summer signing and second half substitute Daniel James then made it 4-0 in the 81st minute to wrap up a solid home win for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men.
Former Red Devils boss Mourinho spoke in glowing terms of Maguire after the game and also praised his defensive partner Lindelof.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the final whistle, Mourinho said: “I think he [Maguire] fully deserves the man of the match.
“He was solid like a rock and, as we know, it’s very important for a team to have that personality, sense of reading the game and being alert all the time [in defence]. He was fantastic.
“A team can be very dangerous in attack, but if you feel that the defensive mistake is around the corner, you don’t play as well as you can.
“Maguire was good, Lindelof was good. As I always said, Lindelof can be a very good player. With Maguire, I think they can make a very good couple.”
Manchester United are second in the Premier League table as they prepare for their next top-flight game – a trip to Wolves on Monday week.
