Journalist claims Liverpool FC could sign 19-year-old next summer
Liverpool FC could complete a deal for American teenager Christian Pulisic next summer, according to reporter Michael Bridge

Liverpool FC could launch a bid to sign Christian Pulisic next summer, Sky Sports News reporter Michael Bridge has claimed.
The United States international has been regularly linked with a move to Liverpool FC since Jurgen Klopp took over the reins in October 2015.
The Reds boss was in charge of Borussia Dortmund when the American forward completed a move to the German club as a youth player.
Pulisic produced his best form under Klopp’s predecessor Thomas Tuchel before the German coach stood down at the end of the 2016-17 term.
He has 24 months left to run on his current deal with the Bundesliga giants and the American isn’t expected to sign a new deal.
Liverpool FC haven’t filled Philippe Coutinho’s void with a world class talent despite the addition of Stoke and Swiss playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri.
Sky Sports News reporter Bridge believes Liverpool FC could come to an arrangement with Dortmund to sign the teenager.
“Keita had the £48m release clause that kicked in this summer,” Bridge told the Transfer Window podcast.
“Liverpool paid a premium to secure him. Leipzig were preparing to lose him anyway. Dortmund aren’t in that poisition with Pulisic.
“He is a top player. He will surely attract interest from a lot of top clubs.
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last term to secure a spot in the Champions League.
The Reds have signed Naby Keita, Fabinho, Alisson Becker and Xherdan Shaqiri in the summer transfer window.
