Juan Mata: How Jose Mourinho has changed at Man United from his Chelsea days
Juan Mata gives his take on how he feels Jose Mourinho has evolved since his move to Manchester United

Juan Mata has revealed that Jose Mourinho has “changed” from the man he was when he was in charge of Chelsea since taking over at Manchester United.
Mourinho was the manager who famously sold Mata to Manchester United in January 2014 after the Spaniard had won the club’s player of the year award for the two previous seasons.
The Portuguese coach was sacked by Chelsea in December 2015 after their disastrous slump in form left them closer to the relegation zone than the top of the table.
Mourinho was appointed as Manchester United’s new manager in May of last year and Mata has been playing a key role in helping the Red Devils improve their form under the Portuguese coach.
And Mata has given an honest assessment of how he feels Mourinho has changed since taking over at Old Trafford.
Mata is quoted as saying by The Daily Express: “Of course, I was not happy to play less than before, and that I was happy to go to Manchester United, but our relationships have always remained cordial, although communication had become more difficult in the end.
“He’s since changed. He’s in a different environment, in a different club, with a different squad, and a different type of football, the goal of which is to attack and create goal opportunities.
“This is what we do, and he is satisfied with the performance.”
