Jurgen Klopp delivers funny verdict on Liverpool’s shocking kit
The Liverpool manager has his say on the club's new shocking third strip

Jurgen Klopp has given Liverpool’s shocking third kit the seal of approval after Saturday’s 2-0 victory over AC Milan at Levi Stadium.
The Reds’s debuted their shocking lime green third strip against the Italian side after Sadio Mane, Daniel Sturridge and Emre Can helped to unveil New Balance’s latest offering at Facebook HQ in San Jose mid-week.

And Liverpool produced a winning performance in their new kit which has drawn a comparison to the colour of a green Stabilo Boss highlighter.
While the third kit has received a negative reaction on social media, Liverpool’s German coach managed to put a hopeful spin on the lime colour – and his side’s prospects for the season.
“I like it. I like the colour. Ok, it’s not a Liverpool colour but if it’s not red, I don’t care,” Klopp told his post-match media conference.
“It is a nice colour. It is fresh. It is cool. The lads love it.
“In my country, green is the colour of hope. Hope is green but I’m a little bit colourblind. I think it’s green and that’s hope. Let’s hope everything will be good for us.”
The Reds were the better side in the first half but couldn’t make the breakthrough despite England stars Daniel Sturridge and Joran Henderson coming close for Klopp’s side.
New £30m signing Sadio Mane was denied a first goal for Liverpool by Gabriel’s brilliant save with his feet just before half-time.

Klopp made six changes at half-time and it was one of the German’s substitutions Divock Origi who made the breakthrough with a clinical finish.
And Brazilian Roberto Firmino finished from close range to secure a first win Stateside against Milan.
