Jurgen Klopp told new Liverpool FC signing is ‘a bargain’
Tim Sherwood raves about new Liverpool FC signing Xherdan Shaqiri

Xherdan Shaqiri is a bargain signing for Liverpool FC, Tim Sherwood says.
The Reds signed the Switzerland international back in July following his £13.5m switch to the Anfield outfit from relegated Stoke City.
Liverpool FC won the race to sign Shaqiri ahead of interest from a number of Premier League clubs given his pedigree in European competitions.
The Merseyside outfit have signed the 26-year-old to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
Shaqiri will be tasked with filling the void left by Philippe Coutinho, who moved to FC Barcelona in a £142m deal back in January.
Former Tottenham midfielder Sherwood believes Shaqiri is a great addition to the Liverpool FC squad ahead of their Premier League opener against West Ham United.
Sherwood told Sky Sports’ The Debate: “They got a bargain with Shaqiri. He is a stocking filler. What a bargain!”
Liverpool FC signed AS Monaco midfielder Fabinho, RB Leipzig star Naby Keita and AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker in the summer transfer window to bolster Jurgen Klopp’s team.
The Reds finished in fourth place in successive seasons in the Premier League to ensure their continued participation in the Champions League in the 2018-19 campaign.
Liverpool FC lost 3-1 to Real Madrid in the Champions League last term to extend their run without a trophy under German head coach Klopp.
