Kenny Dalglish thrilled after Liverpool stun Chelsea
Liverpool boss hails "fantastic" performance after the Reds beat the champions at Stamford Bridge

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish hailed his side’s professional performance after the Reds stunned Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Raul Meireles’s second-half strike was enough for Dalglish’s visitors as the Merseysiders sealed their fourth successive win to hoist them up to sixth in the Premier League table.
“We approached it professionally,” said the Liverpool boss. “The players were fantastic in their approach to the game and their determination to win the match.
“As this club has always said, the most important people are the people who are at Liverpool Football Club. That’s the way they approached the game.
“That’s four clean sheets in a row now and 12 points. Everybody who has got any favour towards Liverpool will be very happy at the moment.”
Chelsea new boy Fernando Torres was kept quiet on his Stamford Bridge debut by his former club’s rearguard before the £50m Spaniard was substituted mid-way through the second half.
And Dalglish insisted that the pre-match hype surrounding Torres’ transfer did not affect the Reds’ game-plan. He said: “Our incentive was to get three points and that’s what we did. Whatever someone wants to do with their life, that’s entirely their choice.
“For me personally I came here to win three points and if Carlo Ancelotti had been playing up front I’d still have wanted the three points.”
Dalglish added: “The personnel and the opposition are not important to me. The only people who are important to me are those in red shirts.”
