Arsenal have offered top forward a £270,000 a week contract – report
Arsenal have offered Alexis Sanchez a new contract worth at least £270,000 a week, according to reports

Arsenal have offered Alexis Sanchez a new contract worth at least £270,000 a week to try and convince the forward to stay at the north London club, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that Arsenal’s best offer for Sanchez so far is a deal worth £270,000 a week, but add-ons would bring those wages closer to the £300,000-a-week mark.
The same story claims that Sanchez believes that he is worth wages of at least £300,000 a week – but also states that money is not the forward’s only motivation.
The 28-year-old is said to be “desperate” to join a club which can challenge for top honours. Arsenal are hoping that some big-name signings this summer can help to convince Sanchez to stay, according to the report.
Sanchez’s situation has been a relentless source of speculation, with the Chilean, Mesut Ozil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all out of contract in the summer of 2018.
Should Sanchez stay at Arsenal, he will have to make do without Champions League football next season after the Gunners missed out on a top-four finish in the Premier League.
