Martin Keown: This is what Arsenal players proved with Man City draw
The Arsenal legend felt that the players highlighted their commitment to Arsene Wenger

Martin Keown claimed that the Arsenal players showed that they are still behind their under-fire manager Arsene Wenger after coming from behind twice to rescue a 2-2 draw with Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners were looking to end a miserable run of results that had seen Arsenal collect three points from their last five Premier League games and drop down to sixth place in the table.
However, it was Manchester City who made the breakthrough after Leroy Sane scored a fifth-minute opener to put the hosts under immediate pressure at the Emirates Stadium.
Even when Theo Walcott levelled the Premier League clash five minutes before half-time, Sergio Aguero netted a response within two minutes to dampen talk of an Arsenal comeback.
The north London side did rally in the second half and Germany international Shkodran Mustafi levelled to make it 2-2 and secure a much-needed point against a top-six rival.
Speaking to BBC Sport about Arsenal’s stalemate with Manchester City, former defender Keown claimed that the Gunners players had shown their commitment to Wenger.
“Are we at the end of an era?” Keown told BBC Sport.
“I do think the players proved they were behind Wenger a bit more today and they gave everything for their team.”
