Chelsea star Eden Hazard makes admission about Arsenal
Eden Hazard admits that he rewatched his goal for Chelsea against Arsenal a number of times
Eden Hazard has admitted that he re-watched his brilliant goal against Arsenal “every day for a week” after Chelsea’s Premier League victory over the Gunners.
The Belgian playmaker earned huge amounts of praise as he danced through the Arsenal defender and scored a brilliant solo goal in the 3-1 win over the north London side at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season.
It was one of Hazard’s finest moments in a Chelsea shirt this season and the 26-year-old has conceded that he watched the goal back a number of times afterwards.
Speaking to Chelsea’s website, Belgium international Hazard said: “Normally after the game I do not watch my goals back but when it is a goal like this, for one week I watched it every day.”
Hazard’s 16 goals in the Premier League this season helped the Blues win the title in Antonio Conte’s first season at the club.
However, the playmaker was unable to prevent Chelsea from slipping to a disappointing 2-1 loss to the Gunners in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday afternoon as they missed out on a domestic double.
