Thierry Henry reveals how many points Chelsea needs to win the title

Thierry Henry believes Chelsea will win the Premier League title if Antonio Conte’s side collect five points from their next three games.

The Blues suffered their first defeat in 23 games in the English top flight after a surprise 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

Chelsea took the lead through Cesc Fabregas in the fifth minute before Palace fought back thanks to goals from Wilfried Zaha and Christian Benteke in the ninth and eleventh minute.

Tottenham Hotspur, on the other hand, were 2-0 winners against Burnley to cut the west London side’s lead to seven points at the top of the Premier League table.

Chelsea don’t have long to lick their wounds and dwell on a rare Premier League defeat as Manchester City make the trip to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

Antonio Conte’s side will then make the trip to Bournemouth and Manchester United later in the month.

Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ on Monday, former Arsenal striker Henry discussed what Chelsea need to see off the challenge of Tottenham.

“If they manage to come out of the Manchester City, Bournemouth and Manchester United games with five points, I think that the title race will be over because Tottenham have a difficult run at the end,” Henry said.
