Cesar Azpilicueta says he feels loved at Chelsea despite being flattered by interest from Barcelona

Cesar Azpilicueta has reiterated his commitment to Chelsea despite speculation linking the defender with a move to Barcelona.
The Spain international has been a key part of Chelsea’s title bid in the 2016-17 Premier League season under new manager Antonio Conte.
The versatile defender has been a vital cog in Conte’s impressive 3-4-3 formation alongside fellow centre-halves Gary Cahill and David Luiz.
Azpilicueta has established himself as a firm favourite with the Chelsea fans for his committed performances in a wide of variety positions.
La Liga holders Barcelona have been linked with a move for the former Marseille defender in recent months.
Speaking to The Guardian about the transfer speculation, Chelsea defender Azpilicueta was quick to underline his commitment to the west London side.
“The truth is right now I am only thinking about Chelsea and I feel loved here,” said Azpilicueta.
“I’ve been here five years now and I extended my contract not long ago. Of course it’s flattering to be linked to Barcelona: it means you’re playing well.
“I wasn’t hearing those sort of stories last season. That’s a consequence of us being top of the Premier League, things are going well.
“My objective since I arrived was to grow as a player and a person. I’ve adapted to the city, to the country. I feel settled, I’m comfortable with the language, my family is very happy.
“Right now my only objective is to continue with Chelsea.”
Azpilicueta has made one assist in 28 appearances in the 2016-17 Premier League season.
The Spanish defender has helped Chelsea to move 10 points clear of their closest rivals in the title race.
The west London side will host Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
