Manchester United could be without as many as seven first-team players when they return to Premier League action on Saturday with a home game against West Brom.

The Red Devils are preparing to host the Baggies at Old Trafford as they look to continue their fight for a top-four finish in the Premier League in Jose Mourinho’s first season in charge at the club.

The latest Manchester United player to pick up an injury was Marouane Fellaini, who suffered a toe problem while on international duty with Belgium.

That has left the Red Devils facing something of a potential injury crisis as they prepare for their home clash against West Brom this weekend.

Chris Smalling and Phil Jones also both picked up knocks while away on international duty with England, while Paul Pogba is expected to miss this weekend’s game as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.

Wayne Rooney is also a doubt for the clash with the Baggies, while Ander Herrera and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are also both suspended.
