Pundit likens Ander Herrera at Man United to Liverpool star
Dean Saunders says Ander Herrera has similar attributes to Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson

Dean Saunders has hailed Ander Herrera as one of Manchester United’s most important players, and says he has similar attributes to Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson.
The Spaniard has been in fine form for the Red Devils this season and has established himself as a regular fixture in the Manchester United side in the second half of the season.
Herrera earned plenty of praise for his battling performance as he helped to keep Eden Hazard quiet during Manchester United’s 2-0 win over Chelsea in the Premier League last month.
And Saunders has explained just why he is such a keen admirer of the 27-year-old Spain international.
Speaking to BT Sport, Saunders said: “He’s a team player.
“He’s one of those players who you can ask to do anything and he’ll do the job.
“He’s a bit like Jordan Henderson. He is disciplined but and can do both – he didn’t come as a defensive midfield player and has an instinct to score a goal, but he also looks like he can smell danger like N’Golo Kante.”
Herrera will be hoping to feature for Manchester United when the Red Devils take on Celta Vigo in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final clash in Spain on Thursday night.
