Laurent Koscielny opens up about N’Golo Kante at Chelsea

Laurent Koscielny has claimed that N’Golo Kante is the best player in the Premier League this season.

The Chelsea midfielder has been in fine form for the Blues since joining the west London club from Leicester City last summer.

Kante has been a regular fixture in the Chelsea first team this season and has earned plenty of praise for his performances for Antonio Conte’s men as he helped them build a 10-point lead at the top of the table.

The France international helped Leicester City win the title last season as he earned rave reviews for his performances for the Foxes.

And Arsenal star Koscielny has been hugely impressed by what he has seen from Kante so far this season.

Speaking at a news conference while on France duty, Koscielny said: “For me he is the best player of the championship.

“He had the aptitude to adapt in his new club, he had a difficult first month but since the loss to Arsenal, he has progressed enormously.

“When you have a player like that in midfield, who gets a lot of balls back…

“He knows what he can and cannot do. He harasses his opponents and gives the ball to his offensive players.”

Arsenal beat Chelsea 3-0 at The Emirates earlier this season but the Blues got their revenge in February when they were 3-1 winners over the Gunners at Stamford Bridge.
