Mark Lawrenson is tipping Leicester City to beat Arsenal in their top-five clash at the King Power Stadium on Saturday evening.

The Gunners will make the trip to Leicester looking to end their three-game run in the Premier League without a victory.

Arsenal haven’t won in the Premier League since a 1-0 home victory over Bournemouth at the start of October.

The north London side have squandered the lead in their last two top-flight fixtures to draw 2-2 with Crystal Palace and 1-1 with Wolves.

Arsenal are in fifth position in the Premier League table and six points behind high-flying Leicester in third spot.

The Foxes have scored 11 times in their last two Premier League games after a 9-0 win against Southampton at St Mary’s.

Leicester have an impressive home record against Arsenal after winning their last three meetings at the King Power Stadium.

Former Liverpool FC defender Lawrenson is backing Leicester to ease to a 2-1 win against Arsenal on Saturday evening.

“Arsenal have been pegged back for draws after leading in their past four games in all competitions, which is another sign that they cannot defend,” Lawrenson told BBC Sport.

“Leicester are good enough to take advantage of that, and the Foxes are starting to look like a really good side.”

Leicester have the opportunity to win six successive Premier League games if Brendan Rodgers’ side beat Arsenal.

The Gunners have conceded seven more goals than Leicester in the English top flight so far this season.

The Foxes have netted 11 more goals than Arsenal despite the investment in the north London side’s attack over the past three years.
