The Reds have earned plenty of new admirers for their impressive attacking play since the German was appointed as the club’s new manager back in October 2015.
Liverpool have become known for their exciting and high-energy style since Klopp took charge and the Reds have earned plenty of new admirers since his appointment.
And former Reds striker Owen has explained just why he is such a big fan of the style of play Klopp has implemented at Anfield.
Speaking on BT Sport on Wednesday night, former Manchester United and Liverpool star Owen said: “What I love about Liverpool is as soon as they lose the ball, they are straight on the offensive to win it back.
“If they win it back and are 25 yards out, they’ve got a chance of scoring. That’s what they do: hunt in packs.”
The Merseyside outfit were held to a 2-2 draw by Sevilla in their Champions League opener at Anfield on Wednesday night.
The Reds will now look to get back to winning ways in the Premier League when they host Burnley at Anfield on Saturday afternoon in the wake of their 5-0 thrashing by Manchester City last weekend.
Liverpool, who are currently eighth in the table, finished in fourth place in the Premier League last season as they secured their return to the Champions League in Klopp’s first full campaign in charge at Anfield.
