Liverpool better off without Luis Suarez, claims Liverpool legend

Liverpool will be better off without Luis Suarez in the long-run, according to Dietmar Hamann.
The 27-year-old Uruguay international sealed a big-money move to Barcelona earlier this summer in the wake of his latest biting controversy at the World Cup in Brazil.

And although Hamann admits that the Reds are going to miss a player who scored 31 goals in 33 Premier League games last season, the former midfielder says Suarez “couldn’t be trusted”.
“I have always been very critical of Suarez’s antics,” said Hamann.
“In footballing terms, he is a big loss, but somebody else will score the goals and I think, long-term, they will be better off without him than with him.
“I’d rather have the six or seven players they have now than Suarez, because at the end of the day, if you want to win things, you need people you can trust, and he can’t be trusted.
“If he does something stupid again, he could be out for years, or for good.”
