Jurgen Klopp delivers open Liverpool FC update on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Jurgen Klopp delivers the latest news on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's situation at Liverpool FC

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is likely to miss most of next season as the Liverpool FC midfielder continues his rehabilitation from knee surgery.
The England midfielder underwent surgery towards the end of last season after suffering a serious knee problem during the Champions League clash with AS Roma back in April.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is now working hard on his rehabilitation as he bids to get himself back fit as quickly as possible ahead of the new campaign.
However, Klopp has revealed that the former Arsenal star is likely to miss most of the campaign and any competitive game-time towards the end of next season would be a bonus for the midfielder.
Speaking to Liverpool FC’s website, Klopp said: “It feels like now is an appropriate time to tell people that for Ox this coming season will be about focusing on recovery and rehab.
“We have known this from pretty much the day after he got the injury and after the successful surgery, we were sure of it. I hope everyone treats this information responsibly. There has been no change, no setback – it’s exactly on the schedule we expected and planned for. The new information is that we’re now giving more detail publicly.
“It is typical of Ox that he didn’t want the news to overshadow the end of the season and, to be quite honest, we thought we could wait and tell people at an appropriate time.
“His surgery – which he had on the day of our second leg in Roma – has been completely successful and his recovery has started superbly well.
“But the truth of the matter is that we are preparing this season knowing he will not be with us on the pitch for competitive matches for the majority of it. If we do see him back this season it will be a bonus.”
Liverpool FC, meanwhile, are still believed to be on the hunt for a number of new signings this summer as they look to build a squad capable of challenging for the Premier League title next season.
The Reds ended up in fourth place in the Premier League table and without a trophy last term despite reaching the Champions League final.
The Merseyside outfit are still looking to win their first trophy under Klopp since his appointment at Anfield back in October 2015.
